To register an account, we may ask for your cell phone number and email address. We may also log your IP address. These data are stored permanently to allow us to combat spam and abuse. However, we do not require that you use your real legal name.

IRCNow does not log IRC chats. Trusted staff, however, have access to metadata such as networks and channels joined, as well as IPs. This metadata is used to prevent abuse. We do not prohibit the public logging of chat rooms by guests. Files that you upload during chat will be stored for two weeks. Emails and files you store on our storage service may be archived permanently. Trusted staff have access to emails and files.

IRCNow uses session cookies to allow you to log in to our services.

We do not sell any personal information to third-parties. We will not share any user information with third-parties except as required by law.

If you do not agree to the above policy, do not continue using our services. You should request for us to delete your account by mailing us at support@ircnow.org.
