before letting system boots itself, press 3 (drop to boot prompt) as boot selection: type these:
loading serial console
consdev com0 boot
netbsd will boot. if you needs more logs, use boot -x (debug) or boot -v (verbose) instead of boot
not so far, it will stop somewhere and turns VM off.
